Here is the link to the Peavey 258 Rage. The difference is the 158 is 15w and the 258 is 25w.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I don't believe there is a power "outlet" on this, only an "inlet".

Usually the inlet will have a lead, often green, that goes to the chassis.

There will usually be two other wires, often black and white that connect to the other two pins.

From the back of the connector, with the center pin tied to the grenn wire of the triangle lower, the pin to the right should be the white and the pin to the left is the black wire

Change the voltage from 240v to 120v

Hello,

Unless there is a 240/120 switch on the back, this amplifier cannot change voltage. The only way is to replace the power transformer, and when you do that you need to use the exact model transformer Peavey uses for the 120 version. I have also seen differences in handling power outside of just a different transformer for USA/Euro models.
The differences between these two market models might be beyond what is cost-effective to convert.

If it is the Peavey blazer 158, they go for as cheap as 100 bucks here in the states. Or buy one new for 120.00 bucks and 4.99 shipping: http://www.dcmusicstore.com/Peavey-blazer-158-guitar-amplifier

Best advice: sell it for what ever you can get and buy one here.

Hope this helps!

You could also use speakers rated less than 400 RMS provided you dont crank the volume knobs all the way up.
I think the CS400 is 200 Watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms
400 watts bridged

Here's the manual. You'll need acrobat to open it.

clearer sound = more watts / more power.
amp watts? speaker load/impedence ohms output from amp? those peavey speakers will sound good if they are powered correctly. plus try to keep the mic away from the speakers, which brings me to my next suggestion..... mic??? this will also affect your clarity.

I'm not a pro on amps but I have a Peavey Rage 158 amp, I'd suggest seeing if the speaker itself still works by directly connecting a source onto the speaker[take the wires off and hook it up to a source].

Try turning it on and checking the wattage going to the speaker wire, then follow the wire back and check the big coil with copper wire among other things.

A common problem with old amps are the tubes, check the tubes to see if they are burnt out [google it if you need a guide]
then check on ebay or maybe an electronic/guitar store.

If that didn't help, reply with more details

Good luck.

[If you don't want it ill take it off of you for $20 :p ]

Missing Knobs on my Peavey Amp.

That was a dumass response and not helpful. I have the same amp and same problem. If you don't have an answer, own up to it.
