You need the usb connection from the ipod to the usb port in the computer, then make sure that you have the latest version of itunes downloaded and installed (it is free, and has all of the drivers for your ipod). You can get it from here

then just add your music to itunes and sync the ipod with the music. Once itunes is installed, plug in you ipod and itunes will pick it up.

Hello, i have an apple touch 8GB my 7 year old brother as a joke put a pass word on it and then hid it on me about 4 month's ago, when we were moving we just recently found it but no one know's the pass...

If you have already tried to plug it into a computer and do a Restore within iTunes, you may need to reset. Only reset your iPod if it is no longer responding. To reset, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Reinstall iTunes. That's the easiest way to fix this problem. But don't uninstall it. Just download the latest version from Apple run it and restart your computer.

My iPod Touch internet connection has failed meaning that I can no longer log on. There is nothing wrong with my internet system as both desk and lap top are accessing OK - can you please help.

go to you internet conection on you ipod and make sure that the name of the wireless conection is the one you using at you laptop... example if you use linksys wireless then it must linksys you will use in your ipod... there are many wifi in your place maybe its been replace... or if the issue still exist, reprogram your ipod touch... thats my only suggestion

The iPod CD is just the programs neccesary to run an iPod. You can download these programs for free at by downloading itunes, it will make available the programs to run the ipod by plugging in the ipod to your computer.

take the songs from it transfer to pc, then try resyncing with itunes, hope this helps
