Question about Pantech Matrix Cell Phone
I recommand that your cell phone need to using the degauss equipment on LCD module. I think ,,, may be... due to the magnitized metal material in your cell phone, it was not working to switch the noraml view.

Ok this happened to me too bc my friend was sliding it and being dump. The duo amd matrix have a really good spring when you slide the phone up, but they couldnt find a place for a second spring when you want the qwerty keyboard for the duo so they put a OK spring there for the matrix. It has nothing to do with the battery or settings. If you have insurance go to at&t and tell them the problem, but if you dont (CAUTION) you can try wiggling a knife in there. If you bought it in the last 30 days you can go and tell them and they will give you a new one.
Hope I helped
