Question about KitchenAid KITCHEN AID 5 Quart Artisan Series Stand Mixer
Kitchen Aid model K45SSWH stand mixer. It has been used in all speeds successfully, but when the slide control hits off, the unit stays in the stir mode. To turn off, we just pull the plug out.
I saw 3 likely parts - the govenor assembly, the control plate assembly or the board phase control.

Check out the motor or the control switch that may be cracked so not getting off.
