This may be because there is no signal going to the RMT terminal on the amplifier. try connecting a +12v line, this line tells the amp to turn on. it is normaly connected to the header unit of the car so that it will turn on the amp when the unit is powered on.

loose connection to the power line and or ground. ground good be grounded poorly. best ground is to scratch the paint off the car frame under the carpet in the trunk and put a eyelet on the wire and screw it to the frame.also check your inline fuse on the power line from the battery if you dont have one you should. and also make sure you are using the right gauge wiring for your amp,

I have no brake lights or turn signals on my 95 gmc truck. I have replaced the boards but no luck. Also have checked fuses.

OK if the fuses are good , use a test light and check to be sure you have power at the fuse terminals. you'll check from ground to the terminal on top of the fuse. you should have 12vdc. then , check for power at your brake light switch on both terminals while the brake pedal is pressed, it is located located on the brake pedal assembly. also , check your hazard flasher switch to be sure it is not on. if it was on, check your flashers, both the turn signal and hazard flasher. If everything checks out , your problem is probably in your turn signal switch assembly located in your steering column.

No sound from speakers, but there is power to amp

make sure the power wire and the remote wire have voltage. at least 12 volts. make sure the ground wire is good and has a good solid ground. after that make sure the rca cables are getting signal from the radio. if you have a small speaker or tweeter you can touch the wires from the speaker to the rca cables and it should play music very quietly. meter the subs and make sure theyre ok and not shorted or bad. if all that checks out good.... the amp is probably bad. start with all the simple stuff and work youre way up. if the amp has good power and signal and good speakers then the only thing thats left is the amp. good luck

What brand of reciever are you using. Most pioneers have a floating signal ground and the shield of the input at the amp needs to be connected to chassi ground. Also if you had a previous amp failure and the power ground in your old amp opened the current to power the amp will flow through the signal ground of the reciever and burn the copper trace on the circuit board in the reciever. test this by connecting signal cable shield to car reciever chassi.

Power amps must be connected + battery wire to the amp +b terminal with a gauge 8 or bigger depending on the power rating, - ground to the car chassis as short as possible, connect cords from head unit to power amp with good groundings, and remember to connect the speakers and the remote trigger from head unit to turn the amp on.

My Sony Xxplode Amp Not Working?

Most amp problem is due to bad connection. Specially check the main power. Sometimes it will indicate you are getting voltage but not enough current because of bed connection. For example it is possible for the on indicator light to be on, but you are not getting enough 'juice' to let it operate. Check the main fuse at the front by the battery.

Problem with hifonics 1505 class d mono

The positives are connected together and the negatives are connected together. The two pairs of terminals are for convenience. You'd connect one speaker to a pair of positive/negative terminals and you'd connect the other speaker to the remaining pair of positive/negative terminals.

You need to confirm that you have a good signal feeding the amp. If you have another amp in the vehicle, swap the RCA cables between the amps to see if it makes a difference.

You also need to confirm that the speaker are working properly and that there are no broken connections in the wires. If you disconnect the speaker wires from the amp and touch the wires across a D-cell battery (for a fraction of a second), the speaker should pop. if it doesn't, check the wiring to determine why.
