Hi there, hope you can help.. recently i pushed the volume buttons too hard and they became stuck inside the tv, we called a tv repair man and he took the case off and pushed them back out.. this cost £40. The same thing has just happened again.. is there any way i could repair this problem myself? Both buttons are stuck inside the tv. Many Thanks

Hi , first i want to say that the tv is not a game it is hazard set very high voltage inside so if you don't have any experience please dn't try to , but you can do it your self just took outlet off and took case off and try to draw the chasses towards you to behind then look inside to the place of the buttons you will see aplastic tips which will push the volume switches that are soldered on the chasses and with your fingures try to push out the plastic tips to relocate it to the original state it is too easy and the please try to be away from the cable that is fixed to the screen cause high voltage is it, refix chasses and cover and give me high rate insted of £40:) regards

TV volume goes to loudest on it's own

It sounds like you may have a stuck micro button (volume button on tv) . You might try to push the up volume button on the tv several time and try to get it unstuck (if in fact that is the problem). Also sometime I have had situtions where the board holding these switches on the inside of the t was broke and had to be soldered and repaired.

If I can be of any more help, please email me at "Original Radio Man" Ed

Soyo Flat Screen TV Sound or Volume control is stuck

Hi deborah card, Lets first make sure your remote is not causing your problem, Look at the light (led) on the remote, is it lit and pulsing? If not you are having a problem with the control panel,  Have you recently cleaned your tv with a liquid? If so you will need to dry the panel with a hairdryer, unplug the power from the tv, put it on low heat and hold it about 6 inches from the panel for a few minutes. With the tv still unpluged press all buttons on the panel a few times then plug back in and try it.  Let me know if this helps and please rate this solution.   lone99star

Tv volume goes down of its own accord

Some dust in the button to lower the volume on your TV or on your remote control might be causing it to think it's being pressed. Try playing around with it, pressing it hard so as to relieve it of any pressure on the inside.

Sony 36' TV Volume Goes up on own/Stuck on Video 2

There's a setting in the menu. I think it's called "smart audio". It's supposed to adjust the volume automatically for commercials. But I don't think it works that well. Give that a try.

Volume of the tv goes up by itself and no other buttons are working on the remote or the Tv

sounds like theres a problem with the front panel push button for the volume; In most cases it gets pushed too hard or just too week to stand up to multible presses and so the button cracks and de[resses the switch. If one switch is depressed none of the others will work as well . Simply open cabinet and pull back the chassis and relese the stuck button
