Question about Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera
Just over three years old our A95 worked fine until now. Fresh patteries, different CF cards and resetting to defaults did not affect failure symptoms. When pointed towards brightly lit subjects clicking noises occur and the picture alternates size slightly. In movie mode, same clicking, eventually goes into record but result is very dark picture usually. I have left the batteries out for two hours but no change. Only two of the seven 'functions' can be accessed with the cursor control (shutter modes & resolutions). Camera was not dropped or exposed to high or very cold temps.
Contact Cannon tech support. A95 has a sensor problem. If it is the sensor Cannon will pay shipping both ways and repair it for FREE.
