I have no picture or sound when I turn it on I here a sound in the back but nothing happens. This happened all at once. One day it worked and the next it don't.
This set may have a bad IHVT (flyback ) transformer. When this goes out it shorts out the horizontal output transistor.
If the horz out tran is good, then check the hi voltage splitter. (Danger! there is 30,000 volts here!) Pull wire from splitter, insulate with a 6" length piece of rubber hose, and turn on set. If sound comes back the splitter is shorted.
Hope this helps,
Lee

We have a bunch of 23" LG units that all failed with the flashing green light problem. I opened it up and traced it to a bad 3.4v output on the power supply which was caused by a puffed up capacitor on the board. If you are capable, you can do the repair and they have all worked fine since. BTW, they ran 24h a day for 2 years before this happened.
I have the exact same problem with my tv. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what is wrong or how to fix it either. I notice your post is from July. Have you found a solution since then?

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
