Washing machine top load leaking water bottom model # LXR7244JQ1

The pump is near the front, bottom of the machine. You need to unplug and unhook it from the water supply. Then get a wet and dry vacuum and remove all the water from the machine by using the vacuum on the drain hose. Then you can lay the machine down to get to the bottom of it and you can replace the pump. http://www.partselect.com/ModelSections.aspx?ModelID=709279&ModelNum=LXR7244JQ1&mfgModelNum=&ManufactureID=3&Selected=TVCOCCCE&Position=6&mfg=Whirlpool&Type=Washer&Mark=4

Water coming out of the bottom of the machine

Sometimes, what may seem like a washing machine leaking from bottom locations is actually one that leaks slowly from other spots. Slow leaks can accumulate beneath your washing machine making it seem like you have a bottom leak. For more help identifying the exact point of the leak, see Washing machine leaking.

Bottom leaks may be better identified using a newspaper. Just dry the floor and lay the newspaper beneath the washing machine before you test for leaks. Darkened sections map out your water leak. This method is not always foolproof, however. The best diagnosis will come from a qualified service professional inspecting your machine.

If your washing machine is leaking from bottom in the rear, you may need a replacement pump and professional installation. The leak could also be caused by a faulty air dome seal or a hole in the tub. For more troubleshooting steps to tackle that leak, see Washing machine leaking from bottom. I hope that helps!

Water leaks from machine during use. Have checked filter on right near base is clear.

Sounds like the water pump is going bad or a hose is leaking. Replace the water pump which in most cases are not, too costly. Most water pumps can be replaced from the bottom of the machine. If you can not find the part # on the water pump, look it up by the model # of the machine.

WHEN I TURN ON WASHER WATER LEAKS FROM BOTTOM OF WASHER

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
This can be a fairly easy repair normaly the problem is that the hoses at the bottom of the machine will wear out or loosen up over time and will need to be re tightened or replaced so what you will need to do is to pull the machine out about 4 to 5 ft from the wall and lean the machine back so you can inspect the hoses annd the drain pump you will be able to see where the water has been leaking from cause there will be residue on the parts that are leaking and on the floor where it has been leaking
Then all you have to do is to repair the leak meaning tighten up the hose clamp or remove and replace the hose if needed ok now if the pump iself is leaking then you may have to remove the pump and see if any thing on the pump is broken and replace that part as needed ok?
Hope this helps
Best regards Mike

I just moved and the washer froze while in transport. There is a small leak which means a line froze? If not a line what could it be? Thanks

If your line is not frozen and cracked then it's the water control on the back of your washer where your main water hoses screw into the washer. Check this water control because it is plastic.

Bosch washing machine leaks at right bottom

The part that you removed, was the pump filter, the pump is located behind the filter, possibly, the pump itself is leaking, or the filter cover is not fastened in tight enough, pr the filter seal is defective, if after tightening, it still leaks, suggest you replace the pump.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Washing machine leaks after pipes froze in room

The problem is most likely the water pump and supply hoses.
If your system froze up where the washer was located then it is possible that the pump or supply lines also froze because they always have water in them.
The repair price will vary with whoever you call to fix it.
