Question about Nintendo Wii Console

When I turn on the Wii console freezes in the main menu screen.

The main menu screen freezes freezes inmediately its appears, and don't give any chance to select a feature from the menu. Because of that my son's Wii console don't let him play anything, and select anything from the menu. I don't know where I can get my Wii to be fixed. Please I want you Fixya to fix my Wii

    when i turn on my wii it goes to the warning screen i press A but then when its at the main menu screen after 5 to 8 seconds it stops (but it stops when the blue light around it comes on no disc is inside its ethier wiiconnect24 it think) CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEE!!!

    My Wii freezes on the menu screen. The sounds and movement is only on for a couples seconds before freezing, allowing nothing - no sounds or movements.

    Yea I have the same problem. when I turn on my wii it is fine until about 10 seconds into the main menu, then it freezes.

    same prob, does urs have a blue light be4 it frreeezzzes? cus mine does and i f it does it might be becus u got a chain mail with loads oif big pics and text and stuf so thats the prob  i think.

Try the Wii "RESET".
Here's how:
1. Unplug the Wii for at least 5 minutes.
2. Plug it back in.

The wii menu does not appear on the tv screen but have green light on the wii console and i cannot close that wii...someone can help me..


First check your cable connection.
Eject the disk, if you have inside.
Unplug the console at the back
Wait 10 minutes
Plug it back in
Turn it on from the remote
Press reset if it does not show up
Hold the power button to shut it off
Turn it on once more.
If this not help may your Wii need service.

Wii Freeze Up


Hi,
Sounds like you need a soft or hard reset.
try unplugging the console from the mains for 5-10 minutes, then try turning on re-booting. remove any memory cards et,c. when you startup.

It seems that your wii console is frozen it could either be the disc inside. If it is not the disc then I would contact Nintendo.
