Nokia 6600 virus problem

hi... i'm using nokia 6600. when i put the mmc, i can't open the menu... if i press and hold the menu button, it will appear a blank box on top of the screen..

when you have a commwarrior a virus justly type *#00234 to your cellphone to install the lastest anti-viurs and without any installer from internet or memory card and to reformat jutsly type *#001243*#

First remove your Memory card Then scan this card using Antivirus software.Then install anticommwarrir.sis file to memory card.Then run anticommwarrior and remove virus from phone.Now Virus is removed but Infected by commwarrior is appeared in the top of the screen in green colour this is Image file.It can be removed by using FE Explorer.Install FE Explorer then open Then the path is C:\System.APPS.PHONE.OPLOGOS.IMAGEFILE.The open Image file Then give Infected by Commwarrior.Remove This.This is the procedure To remove virus without Lose your Data

Alright commwor take out your mmc card from the and then scan your mmc card with the help of card reader ,,and then go to the file option and unmark check from hiden files & folder and then virus checking scan with the help of any kind of anti virus softwear,and remember when u take mmc card from ur cell so u must format ur cell .To format ur cell code blow.
* 3 Send (green button)and remember press these three button till ur your cell will not ON.when ur cell display formatting start then leave theis buttons ,,simple

i think the solution # 2 is the best solution, i've tried so many times to soft and hard format my 66oo by using codes *#7370# and *#7780# but the comwarrior still in my phone evrytime i restart it. comwarrior seems to be imbedded in phone memory and could not be deleted by simply phone formatting.

remove your mmc from phone & enter code *#7370# and put your phone secuirty code when asking,your virus from phone removed. Scan your mmc with antivirus software from your computer. you will not loss your data from mmc.

just do *#7370# on your phone and give the security code i:e 12345 and then format your memory card

Format it:
Make sure that you format the memory card first so that there is no trace of virus in the phone and remove any password from the memory card.

1. First of all make sure that your phone's battery is full and then switch off you mobile phone.
2. You'll need to hold three buttons together which are : The green button, left selection key and the no. 3 key
3. Keep on holding these three button and then press the power button to switch it on.
4. After this you'll get a screen which will say FORMATTING.... after that you can leave the keys.

Caution : This will completely format your phone memory and will reload the whole phone due to which you'll loose all your contacts or infact anything stored in the phone memory.

I hope this helps you....this step can be taken for any Nokia phone which has Symbian OS Series 60 Version 7 and above...you can say most of the phones which came after Nokia 6600 

remove your MMC (mem card) then format your Nokia6600 by pressing ( call button, * key, 3 and the poer button) at the same time


it will automatically format your nokia6600 (do not remove battery while formatting) or make sure that you're battery is fully charged before pressing ( call button, * key, 3 and the poer button) at the same time......

then scan your MMC using your PC's anti virus

Instead of so many codes, wich changes from country to country, there's an easiest way to get rid of commwarrior viruses:

Manual Removal:
To remove SymbOS.Commwarrior.I:
Discovered: May 25, 2006
Updated: February 13, 2007 12:55:45 PM Type: Worm Systems Affected: Symbian OS

1. Install a file manager program on the device.(ex: File Manager or FEXPLORER)
   
   
2. Enable the option to view the files in the system folder.
   
   
3. Navigate to and delete the following files:
   
   
   • \System\data\IloveLeslie\LeslieLoves.exe
   • \System\data\IloveLeslie\RecQWRD.mdl
   • E:\System\recogs\RecQWRD.mdl
   • E:\Images\_PAlbTN\RecQWRD.mdl
   • E:\Images\_PAlbTN\Backgrounds.jpg
   • E:\Images\_PAlbtn\Phone.jpg
     
     
4. Exit the file manager.

Manual Removal:
To remove SymbOS.Commwarrior.A:

1. Install a file manager program on the phone.
2. Enable the option to view the files in the system directory.
3. Search the drives, A through Y, for the \system\apps\commwarrior directory.
4. Delete the files commwarrior.exe and commrec.mdl.
5. Go to the \system\updates\commwarrior directory.
6. Delete the files commwarrior.exe, commrec.mdl, and commw.sis.
7. Go to the \system\recogs directory.
8. Delete the file commrec.mdl.

Remove MMC card

Format the phone first (Hard Format)

Install Anti Commwarrior on phone memory using ur PC or via GPRS / other MMC card.

Search the file ..... Terminate the virus

Then put your MMC and scann the mmc
