Question about Sanyo Televison & Video
Tested display by placing a flashlight against screen- display is ok- backlight is not working- checked fuses on backlight board- fuse to control circut was blown- this is a smaller black 2 amp surface mount fuse, not one of the 2 large 8 amp ones. tested circut, pulling less than .5 amp- Tv works fine now. Good luck--
I think what has happened is that your power supply malfunctioned and what has happened is that a capacitor has blown up. I would suggest that you do a complete search of the power supply to determine the location of the blown capacitor, I would advise getting a schematic to aid you in this. If you don't have experience in electronics I would also advise taking the set to the shop or calling a repairman to take care of this issue.

turn light in room off, take a strong flashlight and shine at an angle and see if you can see picture. If you see picture then it is inverter problem.part number 4900506280,I think.

Hi there! The panel may be in protection mode. The Inverter board is the most logical area to start after checking power supply Voltages.(5,6,24 and 13Volts). There may be coils on the Inverter Board which have bad soldering or faulty. Other than this it may be main board which controls switch on or off. If all else fails, refer to a repairer. Beware of High Current!!! Best Wishes and Good Luck, Jus004
