Question about SkyGolf SkyCaddie SG5 Car GPS Receiver
The USB port I was using was once used to syncronize my Treo. I now use Bluetooth but for some reason Hotsync Manager is holding onto the USB port dearly (calls it COM6). What I did to resolve is click Hotsync Manager and click off Local and Local USB. Then I run Skycaddie Desktop and everything works perfectly. Once I'm done I have to click on Hotsync Manager again and click Local on as the Bluetooth requires this. The symptom I had that led me to this resolve is that I started getting a message box that said COM6 was not available...
If your problem doesn't have to do with a hand held I'll bet it is a conflict with some other device that you use the USB port for.
Good luck and good golfing.
