Can't Burn Dual-Layer Disks

My burner allows me to burn CDs and DVDs just fine, but when I try to burn a dual-layer disk of a Video_TS folder (a movie), it gives me an error message: The drive reported an error: Sense Key = ILLEGAL REQUEST Sense Code = 0x26 INVALID FIELD IN PARAMETER LIST

First, be sure your DVD burner is capable of burning dual-layered discs- Second, it may be rather an issue of copy protection on the disc. Have you succesfully copied commercial DVD's in this fashion? I'm unsure if I'm allowed to mention any software that might assist you in that regard- google is your friend.

Your dvd drive is not capable of burning a dual layer disc. You need to have a burner that is capable of sending the laser through to the second layer of the disc. That said you can get a DL burner for around 30 dollars. Click HERE to see one from
I am not sure what you mean by 'burns, flip, burn dvds.' but if you make another comment I will respond.
