Question about Edimax BR-6104K Router (br6104k)
I am using Edimax router BR6215 and everything is OK all the time my laptop is pluged into electric power. But when I want to use in on bateries the internet connection disconnects all the time and never stays connected for more than a minute...
thanks in advance.
That has nothing to do
with your router.
Its your laptop that shuts off your wireless card every time its running on battery power.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Check the connection type is not "Connect on Demand".
Check the Idle Time Out setting is not used.
This specifies the amount of time the router waits before shutting down an idle connection. This option is only available when "Connect on Demand" is selected. See the manual
