My daughter was shredding old checks and they got clogged in the blades and now the blades won't turn how do we get the clog free? we have tried to reverse the blades and also tried to dig them out but still will not work

-   I am having the same problem. The blades are all clogged with paper. I too have pulled out all the paper I could....and have kept the blades lubricated. -   kellymorad

-   I took my shredder apart to remove any jammed paper on the top side of the unit, assembled the unit and it still has the same issue, as previously described. If anyone has any insight, please let me know. Thank you.-   rjkessler5

-   My shredder is jammed. When set on auto, it will try to work but the teeth are jammed. When I try to use the reverse setting, the motor tries to work yet the teeth are still stuck. I have pulled out all the paper that I can and it is still stuck. The only thing I haven't tried is to take the shredder apart. -   rjkessler5
