Question about RIM BlackBerry 7290
When i try to make calls i receive this msg. ''sorry, only emergency calls are allowed''. how would i get rid of it? kindly send me solution for this problem as soon as possible.
Check on the right hand corner of your device for the vertical signal bars - 5 bars indicate full strength and 1 indicate very low signal. "OFF" indicates the radio is off and need to be turned on.
In case signal strength is good, you should be able to make and receive calls. In case it does not work, just try taking the battery out and put it back after 15 seconds and try again.
In case signal strength is low , either you are in a low signal zone or your SIM card is bad. Take the SIM card out, wipe the gold plated surface using a clean tissue, put it back and try again.
In case the radio is OFF, turn it on by clicking on the icon (Turn Wireless on) on the home page.
