You are missing one of the steps in your threading pattern. Sometimes it is going the wrong direction when threading the machine. Check your owners manual or go on line to the manufactures website and it will give you tips on what to do.

My top thread keeps snapping

Sounds like your tension is set too tight for the thread. Or you are using a poor quality thread that unravels and keeps knotting as it comes through the needle. Or you have a block between your tension discs. Pull a thicker thread through the discs to clear anything that is there.

I'm using Brother Poly thread on my Brother PE-770. Everything was fine until I changed needles. I followed the directions exactly. But now, when I embroider, my thread keeps unraveling and the needle...

Please check your needle position, putting it in backwards is a very common error, the FLAT side of the needle shank should be towards the back. Also be sure that during the transition, that the bobbin thread did not get misaligned.
So, make sure the needle has the flat side to the back, and rethread your bobbin thread through making sure it is correct.

It keeps breaking needles everytime I try to begin sewing.

most sewing machines the needle goes in flat side to the back of the machine,
if it continues to break needle the it could be out of time & needs to be serviced

Top thread from spool somehow gets out of the needle when sewing. Sometimes top thread breaks; other times it just escapes the needle. I redid threading from top and from bobbin to see if that would fix....

Try loosening the tension and pulling a longer string of thread. Also, if the needle is not at the highest point, when you start sewing, the thread will pull out.

My white superlock 734dw keeps dropping the 4th thread!!

It may be that your presser foot is not alligned with the cutter. This is the problem that I am trying to solve now. My presser foot is not lining up with the blade and it does what yours do. ok then nothing.I have changed the needles and cleaned it and oiled it. I have taken apart the foot and assembled it and when I put it back on it wont allign to the blade and the book is NO HELP at all. I won't pay for an answer but when i get it i'll lpass it on to you. OK.
