Hi there,
There is currently no facility for internet sharing from either the iPhone or iTouch. The only way to share a connection is from a wifi Access Point.
All the best

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Assuming that you wish to use your phone's data plan to access the internet on your pc and that it's an android phone. First answer - pay your carrier for the tether privilege and access that option from "Settings". The exact location of that option varies from phone to phone and carrier to carrier. Second answer: download pdanet for usb tethering (costs a few bucks). Third answer: root your android phone and you have many more tethering options, both wifi and usb.

Tether phone laptop

Tery,

Usually when one tethers it is done from the phone to obtain internet for devices such as laptops, tablets or other devices. There are ways to share internet from computers but that is usually done over the network and could not confirm it could be done with a phone. That being said, If you are indeed looking to Tether the laptop to the Phone's internet it would depend on the phone you were trying to use to determine how this would be easiest done.

Depending on the phone some are designed with a Hotspot mode that can be found under the settings of most smartphones and will allow you to access it as a wireless access point. This is contingent on the phone service vender as it will charge you data to use this technology.

If your phone does not support any type of "Hotspot" mode then we would be looking at the possiblity of connecting the phone via USB to allow for internet passthrough. Again this is all depending on the type of phone.

If you can inform me of the type of phone you have and exactly what you hope to achieve I would be more than happy to help further.

Good luck!

How do I tether my cricket smart phone to my hp laptop?

I don't know that tethering is possible with a Cricket. You would have to contact your service provider directly since they are the only ones who can enable tethering in the first place.

Tablet will not connect to wifi

When you tether with your Android-powered smartphone, you can connect to the Internet on your computer from any location covered by your cellphone service provider's network. Tethering allows your phone to act as a modem for the computer. Tethering applications such as Tether for Android allow you to set up tethering without the need to root your phone. Before tethering, check with your cellphone service provider to determine how much data you are allowed to use without incurring data charges. Excessive use of the Android phone as a modem can cause you to exceed your allotted data.

Search the Android Market on your phone for a tethering application. Applications such as EasyTether and PdaNet are available to download for free. Download the application from the Market. Installation begins immediately after the download. When installation finishes, an icon for the tethering app is placed on the Android's expanded home screen. Open a Web browser on the computer and access the site specified in the tethering application's description in the Market. Download and install the USB drivers needed to tether from the site. When installation is finished, an icon for the tethering application is placed on the computer's desktop. Tap "Settings" on your Android phone, then tap "Applications." Tap "Development" and enable "USB Debugging." When the field turns green, it is enabled. Connect the phone to the computer with its USB cable. Launch the tethering application on the phone. Launch the application on the computer. Click the option to connect to the Internet in the home screen. When the connection is established, confirmation is displayed in the status window.

I'm trying to set up my computer so my phone will charge. What do I need to do?

You'll need a USB-to-cell phone cable, commonly called a "tether." Normally tethers are
used to provide internet connectivity via cell phone to the computer (sounds desperate
and terribly slow, but not only is it possible, its better then nothing). Its also useful for
uploading pictures from camera phones to a PC/cloud.

The tether for your phone will have a USB type A port on one end (for the computer)
and a connector on the other end (for the cell phone) that's called a USB "Mini-B" connector (since you phone has a USB Mini-B port).
This cable is very commonly available, since its used for digital cameras (and nice MOTORAZRs).

Here's a link to one manufacturer's "USB Data Cable" for your phone:

I'm not endorsing www.wirelessgalaxy.com, its just that they have a nice photo of your tether.

How to tether my milestone to my loptop

You can tether your droid to a computer with a USB cable to share internet connection, but verizon charges you a hefty price.
Fortunately, there are apps on the android market that also do the job.
Method 1: Tether Android with Apps that Need Root (Free, heavy configuration)

The Android Wi-Fi Tether application turns your phone into a Wi-Fi hotspot--essentially aMiFi--in one tap. The catch? You have to gain root access to your phone, a multi-step process that uses an unofficial Android add-on which can brick your phone if applied incorrectly. Rooting Android is doable for geeks and hackers with experience soft-modding hardware, but it's not something most users could (or should!) do.
Method 2: Tether Android with Proxoid (Free, no root required, some configuration If you don't want to gain root but know enough to get around the command line and use proxy servers, the Proxoid Android app can tether your phone for free.
Method 3: Tether Android with PdaNet ($30, no root required, minimal configuration Finally, the PdaNet Android application lets you tether Android using an app on the phone plus simple software you install on your computer

Can i brows web through pc suit with lg kg 300? is it advisable? from where i can download it?

I just checked the specs on your phone. It looks like your phone does not have the capability to access the Internet through PAM (Phone As Modem). As such, you cannot connect your computer to the Internet by using your phone - which is also called 'Tethering'. (If this is your question.)

There are many other phones which you can use to tether your phone to your PC to surf the Internet. However, only a few cellular providers allow this. The ones that do severely limit both the bandwidth (speed) and the amount of monthly data usage when tethering.

If you do decide to tether I STRONGLY advise you to use the New Google Chrome Browser on your PC when you surf the Web. It's much faster (which you'll need due to the decreased bandwidth).

When you look for a phone you can use to tether, (like the Samsung Jack SGH-i637 for example) look to make sure it has an Internet sharing option in it's installed programs. (I use my Samsung Jack when I tether my laptop to the Internet when I travel.) And, I use Google Chrome as my browser when I do.

Connect to internet.

If your question is how to connect to the internet with Bluetooth only then it is not possible.

If your question is how to use your phone as a modem to tether your laptop to the internet using Bluetooth to tether (creating a wireless link between your phone and laptop), then please review this article:
