Question about ASUS P4V800-X (90-M8LBR0-G0EAYZ) Motherboard
I have ASUS P4V800-X Motherboard and I just take a 500GB hard disk. The problem is that my PC sees only the 130GB.What's the solution??
If you mean you now have both of the hard drives connected, if they are both connected over the same IDE cable (thin wide cable with three very wide rectangular sockets, with two long rows of pins) one of the hard drives needs to be set as the Master and the other as the Slave. there will be instructions on the hard drives on how to do this. it will involve moving a jumper on each drive, this is a small plastic rectangle which slides over two pins out of a selection of about 8. you will want the 130GB drive to be the Master as i am guessing this holds your operating system. the new 500GB drive should be the Slave. thanks
