Water pools in bottom of dishwasher and dishes come out dirty

The soap isn't mixing with the water. It's like the water has splashed against the dishes but not sloshed around enough to actually wash anything. Plus, at the end of the wash cycle, the water doesn't drain out and instead stays pooled in the bottom of the dishwasher.

Soap gets clotted is soap dispenser. Dishes greasy and dirty after cycle.

Hi, the soap is clotting because there isn't enough water being sprayed around inside. The water spray washes the soap out of the dish, if all is working well. My machine had the same problem. I had sufficient water level, but the spray head wasn't spinning very well. I found the end-most hole in the spray bar to be plugged. It is the end hole that provides a jet that makes the head spin. I cleaned a bunch of debris out of the hole and the machine started working and cleaning like it was new.

1 Scrape and rinse dishes before putting them in your appliance. Small food particles, grease, sauces and bones clog up the system, keeping the dishwasher from properly rinsing your dishes. You don't need to prewash the dishes but be sure to rinse off any solids.
2 Use a toothbrush to clean around the dishwasher door.
Clean around the seal and hinges of the dishwasher. This area often is forgotten and holds a good deal of bacteria and food splash. A tooth- or bottlebrush is the best way to get into the crevices.
3 Clean chunks of food out of the screen and drain at the bottom of your dishwasher, recommended The Family Handyman. If the drain is plugged, the dirty water can't be washed away and ends up back on your dishes. Nut, bean and seafood shells, bits of plastic and small dishes can lodge against the drain, keeping it from doing its job.
4 Unclog the holes in the sprayer arms. If the holes are blocked by food or soap, water cannot freely spray inside the dishwasher to thoroughly clean the dishes. Leftover food on the dishes can make the dishwasher smell.
5 Keep space around your dishes. Overloading a dishwasher keeps it from running efficiently, allowing gunk to build up around the drain and the spray arms.
6 Run your dishwasher as hot as possible to break down food and grease. The recommended temperature is 120 F.
7 Run the dishwasher with vinegar added to neutralize odor. Empty the dishwasher, place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with white vinegar on the top rack, and run a cycle at the hottest setting. If you prefer, use unsweetened lemonade powder or baking soda in place of vinegar.

Pour 1 Cup of Muriatic Acid (Can be purchased at your local Pool Supply Store) into the bottom of the washer and a little in the soap dish. Run the Dishwasher through 5 cycles. Check to see If this helps. If not Try the same process with CLR house cleaner.

Water enters dishwasher, soap door opens but soap

That's a normal path for the soap. It sounds like the water just sits in the bottom without being pumped through the spray arms. Does the pump motor run? Pop the door open in the middle of the washing cycle--you should see hot water dripping from everything and the soap picked up and circulated with the water. If this machine has seen a lot of use, the intake screen under the lower spray arm may be plugged and is accessed by removing the spray arm and working your way down to the bottom of the deck. Might be a problem for a service technician to take care of.

Dishwasher

If you are you using a liquid soap or packets that will be the main problem. If your unit fills with water circulates the water and drains the water, and also heaters are working then you probally need to change to cascade powder soap. The film on the dishes is soap. The unit has so much build up in it that when it gets to the rinse cycle it is rinsing dishes with soapy water. You need to get 2 medium bowls fill both 2/3 up with white vinager, place one in upper rack and one in lower rack and run unit on longest cycle letting the vinager splash out during wash.do this with no soap and no dishes.Having soft water will allow you to use less soap.

Dihes not clean

Run the unit with no soap, after about 5 min. of run time open door and check to see if water is clear or soapy,If soapy then you are having an oversudsng issue. When your washer gets to rinse cycle, your unit (if oversuding),will be rinsing with soapy water and the the drying cycle bakes the soap on dishes. You might be having a white film on your clear glasses.Cut down on soap especially if you have soft water.powder soap is best.Your dishwasher will fill , wash , the drain. Its what you put into it that will cause dishes not become clean.
