Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
That might be a good idea yet it could have a chance of damaging the system if it gets too hot. take it apart and let it air dry for a few days

Remove the battery for 2 days, Run hair dryer on it for aout 15 minutes too. keep it in a dry place for at least 2 days with no power from battery at all. If this doesn't work your probably not going to get it to work again with sending it to a repair shop for estimate of damages and repairs needed to recover.
