Happy new years,,i believe you mean when the recirulating pump comes on about 4 to 8 mintues into wash.....open door and fell if any lint stuck up there if so use a needle nose pliers to pull out..check the bellows or gasket around door and make sure your not ripped ,,or missing a peace...now this is cheaper than buying new gasket...unplug unit ..than remove door switch and put 1 washer on the back of each screw ,,but put washer on inside of unit between panel and door latch ...this will push latch back and make door come forward so to be tighter...im here,,onthejob

GE model WSXH208F1WW leaks from gap between bottom of door & gasket. Door drags on bottom when you close it. If you push in on bottom of door, it makes contact with seal & stops leaking.

It may be the hinge. Some models can reverse the door swing. Check your manual. If you are able, switch the swing of the door. this may help with the miss aligned door. Good luck!

I need advise on replacing a door boot gasket on a Bosch vision 300/500DLX front load washer. It has the water tube built into the gasket. All videos are without water filler tube. Help!

The tube is usually only a push fit onto the filler nozzle. The tub to shell gasket (Door gasket) is different as some models do not have the gasket fill nozzle. This hose is for the recirculation pump (I think) The main filler is usually through the soap drawer at the top of the machine. The hose that is on an LG and on a Daewoo is only pushed onto the nozzle. The plastic nozzle comes out and off of the gasket.

My machine has a very slight leak could this be from the door seal ?

The first hand inspection is the best opttion to finalise on the leak, If you move your palm on the area of the leak the water drip can be felt to confirm.
If it is the door gasket you can rotate the same to move it upwards to reduce the leak if from the bottom.
If not replace gasket.
Can als be due to drain hose /drain pump fault if dripping is at the bottom.

Leak at the bottom right hand corner of the dishwasher, I cleaned the gaskets, checked the door latch, checked the levelness, & the door hinge. Ran it thru the cycle & still leaks. How do you...

The gasket should pull rigth out. For the old gasket you can pull out with pliers. Once the first part is removed the rest is easier. Replace with similar one. Insert new gasket fully in groove. Remember that the first time the gasket will leak because it needs to expand. Also if you haven't used washer in a while it will leak becasue the gasket contracted.

Also with the power off check for water leaks at the inlet and outlet hoses and where it connects with the washer. Take a flashlight and dry finger and trace the water back to its source as muchs as possible.

Duet leaking out the front door. They replaced

Hello LPeck, This is a pretty common issue with all front loading washers. Typically it has to do with the door bellows (gasket) that seals the door to the washer cabinet.

First, look very carefully at the gasket all the way around, using a flashlight. Pay close attention to the area where the water flows into the washer. This is usually located on the upper part of the gasket and sometimes the water inlet port gets the gasket moved out of place and when the water is flowing into the washer, it can leak outside of the gasket. Make sure that the gasket is properly located around the water inlet port and that the gasket does NOT extend past the water nozzle.

The other thing to do is again look very carefully at the entire gasket for small cuts or tears that might be allowing water to leak out. Even a small cut can allow alot of water to leak out of the wash tub, so carefully push/pull the gasket with your fingers while shining the flashlight onto it.

In almost all cases, it is a cut or torn gasket that is the source of the leak.

This is an easy self-service repair, only requiring a few basic hand tools to remove the gasket bellows from the washer cabinet and inner wash tub. Just fold the back lip from the washer cabinet and you'll see the retainer wire that holds the bellows onto the cabinet. With that removed, you can then slip the bellows gasker off the cabinet lip and see and get at the inner wash tub retaining clamp. Typically held on with a large diameter hose clamp. Remove that and you're ready to install the new one in the reverse order.

Just be sure to let the new gasket lay out to help get most of the kinks out of it, from being in the small shipping box, and install it slowly and carefully, so not to put any cuts in it.

This will save you around $150 +/- instead of having a service tech do the installation/repair for you.

If you want to see and order the part yourself, you can go to the following link to see the gasket and how it is installed. You can order it online from sears, or any place you wish.

Front loader washer leaks from bottom center of door osmetimes

Check inside the door on the bellows gasket to make sure the inlet area (normally at the 10 o'clock position) is properly positioned around the water inlet, sometimes these work themselves off the inlet nozzle and can casue a leak when the washer is filling up.

Also, carefully run your hand around the bellows gasket to see if you can find any small holes that cold be letting water leak out. You'll need a flashlight to make this easier. It is hardly ever the hinges that causes a leak since the hinges are mounted outside of the door seal gasket (bellows gasket) and aren't ever exposed to the water.

Whirlpool washer leaks from bottom when filling

So you are saying it leaks from the front ?? It would seem that the door gasket has a hole in it or the outlet hose has split. Take a torch and look at the bottom folds of the door gasket to see if there is a split in it. Switch off the power first!!!!then If not there bring the machine forward, tip it back against the wall (Put something underneath it in case it falls on you ) and use you torch to see where the water is coming from

When I start the washer, water seems to seep in through the back and not through the sprayers? After the cycle is finished, clothes are still dirty, as if they never washed due to lack of water entering,...

I have a (2009 )WM0642HW.The new ones don't have the Forced Water Recirculation Nozzle that's in the top of the door seal. LG quietly (discontinued) that feature. If you do see a WM0642HW with a spray nozzle in top of the door seal in a showroom somewhere, it was a WM0642HW manufactured ( assembled ) a long time ago.Currently produced WM0642HW will not have the Water Recirculation feature installed. There may still be some older version "new" WM0642HW units out there somewhere? But most of them are display models or unavailable ,and with a shorter motor warranty. 7 years instead of current 10 years on new versions of the WM0642HW.But getting back to your question, the washer fills by water entering the cylinder through the back top left side of drum as it flows from the dispenser compartment via a hose. The opening is right behind the cylinder baffels location. It has no fill nozzle at the front gasket edge like some other brands have. My washer did not clean well at all with full loads. Only after i turned the water level switch under the top lid "clockwise" a half turn ,does it now fill up to the bottom of the door rubber seal.My clothing now tumbles in a pool of water instead of a WICK WATER RUB WASH that it was doing previously. It's a 100 times better with the few gallons of extra water inside, BELIEVE ME. What i say is from experience with this exact model.Turn up the water level so it can tumble in some water. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE! You'll have nothing but grief until you've had enough and have the desire to turn it up alittle.Just have it set to fill to the bottom of the door gasket.Everything will be saturated at the start of the wash and not towards the end of the wash segment.

Kenmore Elite HE3t door leaking (Model 44936)??

If the unit leaks during use with a constant drip from the 6 o'clock location between the seal and the glass on the door the solution is to change tha door seal. it is quite difficult to do I would recommend you call a local service company.
