Question about Maytag LSE7806A Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
Where is the fuse located? I was about to purchase a timer and then I found this site. My washer won't fill with water, but the spin cycle works. I thought I should try the fuse first. Can you tell where it is located? Thanks
Well htere is a fuse, its located right behind the washers front panel on hte right hand side. its an inline fuse( you can find at hardware or auto part store FUSE (250V 1A) , but this would stop all operations not just water fill. With the front panel off you can "see" through the machine to the filll valve and check it for poower when the "fill" is selected, I would point to a bad water valve or even a faulty prssure switch( not allowing power to the valve befoer condeming the timer.. the pressure switch is also located on the front rail by the fuse assembly anbd will have a plastic'rubber tube connected to it, i would disconnect and blow through the tube for possible obstruction.. ( if the pressure switch is satisified., the machine will think there is wate rin the machine and therfore wont allow anymore to enter.
