Mine started like that a day or two ago and now( 1 Jan 2009) I get a black screen. If I cycle through the modes (S-Video, SCART AV, PC etc) for a few microseconds, a blue screen with the mode (as usual) in white flashes on. It only lasts microseconds though.

I have exactly the same problem as you, blue screen flickers on for a second when switching inputs and have sound but nothing else... mines an rlt2000

Hi, the problem is probably the inverter board. These are quite cheap to obtain, and very easy to replace. Try these people: www.lcdparts.net
They are realy good! They even give instructions of how to replace the item.

My relisys monitor wont come on. it was working perfectly yesterday and now wont work at all. the screen is just black and no lights are coming on. everything is plugged in and switched on.

You might have a break in the cable or a loose plug, try wiggling some of the wires around and check to make sure that all the plugs are in as far as they can go.

Relisys picture problems

I had the exact same problem on a brand new Insignia 26 " LCD with DVD. Comcast tech was able to fix it by changing the Comcast box diagnostics. Here is what he did. Using the Comcast remote with the TV on - press power, cable, menu in that order. A comcast diagnostic srceen will appear. Select Additional HDMI options, then audio options.

All of a sudden there is no picture on my relisys 15" tft monitor, sound and channel change work, please helpnessa, thanks va

The fault is likely the back-light. The fault could be the inverter board that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or the CCFL lamp. The CCFL lamp is a mini fluro tube.

A 1/2

there are 2 possibilities 1. you have changed screen resolution by accident, try using that [right click desktop and properties, look in tabs there] or 2. your screen is old and it has "burned out" in some parts

Relisys Sound

CJ,
1. Check make sure the audio cable are plugged in from the monitor to the PC output audio jack (light green).
2. Open your on screen display and go to Volume settings. See if it set on mute or set to 0.
3. Turn of your monitor & PC and unplugged all the cables from your monitor and PC wait for 10 seconds and then replugged it all the cables and audio cable back. Then turned on you PC...
4. If it still doesn't work.. open the back cover see if the speaker cable are plugged in.
5. If that doesn't work...then your monitor AD board built-in speakers are defective.
6. Why not just used a external speakers, it give better sound quality.
Have a nice weekend!
