if you have a usb cord connect it to your computer and your psp and there should be like a folder or something for the psp that has all your data. just input the files or music you want into that folder and you should have it.
just make sure its the right folder name, beacuse psp wont play all htmls.
You can upload MP3 files with no problem. You can upload unprotected WMA files with no problem, but you have to first connect your PSP to wifi and accept the windows media player agreement. You cannot play protected WMA files on the PSP. Here's how to transfer music. You will need a memory sick duo for the PSP for storage and a USB cable to connect the PSP to your PC.
1. Connect your PSP to your PC via the USB cable. 2. On your PSP's menu, go all the way left into the Settings menu. 3. Scroll up to the USB Connection menu and click X 4.
Your PC should recognize your PSP. You can then access your PSP's
installed memory stick just as you would any other drive. Let's say,
for example, your PSP is now drive G:\ on your Computer. On your PC,
click into drive G: 5. Click into the PSP Folder. If this folder does not exist, you can create it by clicking File --> New --> Folder 6. Click into the MUSIC Folder. If this folder does not exist, you can create it by clicking File --> New --> Folder
Here you can drap and drop [or copy and paste] all of your MP3 or WMA
files and they should appear on the PSP's music menu.
You need a memory stick duo to play music on your PSP, when you insert the MS duo into the PSP, make sure you got the settings menu and format the MS duo. that way, when you plug the PSP into the PC, it willl already have the neccesary folders to put your music in
Hey minimart, If you kept all of the MP3's in the same file structure they were on your computer, this might explain why you are encountering this problem. Unlike some regular MP3 players, the PSP is unable to recognize anything beyond two folder levels. As an example, while your computer would be able to determine what "Music > Artist > Album > Songs" means, the PSP is not able to read anything beyond the "Artist" subfolder. Hope this helps you out. Sincerely, Aaron Go Ahead. Use Us.
That's a slightly vague question, but I can tell you a couple things... I guess one thing you'll want to know is how to upload stuff. You'll first need to connect your psp to the computer via the usb cord you got with your psp. Then go into the psp settings menu and scroll up till you get to usb connection. Click that and then you'll be connected to the computer. I don't know what kind of computer you have but it should have a pop-up that tells you something is plugged in.Mine personally says something like the computer recognized a removable drive would you like to open it? If your computer does that click yes, if your computer is an older computer and doesn’t do that… go into My Computer and open the psp drive The psp drive will contain a couple of folders PSP MP_ROOT MUSIC PICTURE VIDEO If you want to put music and pictures on your psp, all you’ll need to do is open the correct folder and put in the music and or pictures you wish to upload. *If you want to play WMA you’ll have to go into settings and enable WMA play or else the psp won’t play them, and also make sure your photos are .jpg or .jpeg If you want to play a video on you psp you’ll have to load a psp video converter on you computer to convert the files to the correct format. Once they’re in the correct format you’ll need to open the file MP_ROOT folder, and then open the 100MNV01 folder and place the file into the folder. Once you’ve uploaded what you’ve wanted press O on the psp, which will bring you back to the menu.
