Question about Harman Multimedia AVR 146 5.1 Channels Receiver
I have a AVR 146 that is replacing my Sony DAV300. The satelite speakers (rated at 30W) work fine but the subwoofer (SS-ws300) doesn't work. Its is not a powered speaker and I it only had the bare-wire connections. Even though the manual says to use a filtered plug, I can't find one and a regular AV plug doesn't work. Any clues? Thanks! Tips for a great answer:
Jul 14, 2014 | Sony Audio Players & Recorders
Nov 22, 2013 | Bose Audio Players & Recorders
Dec 27, 2012 | Denon AVR-2807 Receiver
Apr 17, 2011 | Sony STR-DH510 5.1 Channels Receiver
Since you don't name the receiver we have no idea of its audio power or compatibility with 'standard' 8-ohm speakers.

Any normal standardized NOT-all-in-one-hi-fi-in-a-box amplifier will work with these speakers.
