Let over line so that one can move the unit w/o disconnecting the water line. Check to se if the preasure going to the unit is low also by disconnecting the line after someone helping you turnas it off and on at the tap valve where it attaches to the house water line. If low there turn off house warter dissemble saddle needle valve and clean .If preasure is good there Replace the water filter on the unit or the one in line. If that doesn't work , then consider replacing the fill valve.

My kenmore 59658642890 is not cold, no ice and water is not dispensing. Had a service guy come out and I think he ripped me off because it's still not working. Is there anything I can do to fix it...

Hello,
Their are two somewhat related possible things causing the dispenser/icemaker to not work

1) The water flow into the water inlet valve on the back of the ref.where the house water supply to it is restricted,so either no or very low water pressure is coming into the valve. To check that turn off water supply and disconnect from ref...place end of tube in bucket and turn water back on to check pressure coming in..if pressure is low(just dribbles) the supply will insufficent to fill icemaker/disopenser.

2) If pressure is good into the valve the water valve they tube connects to is going to be the problem.

In case the pressure is good and the water inlet valve needs to replaced the part number for it is 12195504 It can be purchased at your local applaince parts store or online at;

Small drip out of ice maker. Ice cubes dump out of ice maker are sort of siamese. I.E., they are chained together by a tiny amount of ice.

You are getting too much water to your icemaker, either faulty water valve or extremely high pressure or extremely low pressure either way will cause too much water in your icemaker, extreme low causes water valve not to shut off, high pressure lets too much water through when it opens. These pressures are not adjustable in the fridge. You can on certain models adjust the amount of time the valve is on, per the icemaker, it usually will have a screw on the side of it towards the front of the icemaker.

Water dribbling out of dispencer whirlpool american fridgefreezer

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

The water dispenser has a low flow and the filter has been changed recently?

You need to try another filter before looking for a fault. If still blocking, switch water off then unscrew "filter holding bracket" 2 pipes connected. one from the water supply and the other to the to the dispencer. Open the water pressure and inspect the rate that the water flows.from the supply. If satisfactory, try and connect the one pipe to the other and retry water pressure. if not strong, problem is in second section of pipe. Rectify.

The water dispencer dribbles the water out.

The water hose coil is to chill the drinking water coming out of the dispenser. If the water drips out it could be a bad solenoid valve since the water dispenser requires power to dispenser water. If the Ice maker is working fine then check the dispenser water solenoid valve.

Water comes out but then stops

When the water pressure slows to a dribble, it's time to buy a new filter. Our family of 4 goes through a filter in 6 months.
