Question about Creative Labs Zen Digital Media Player
I have UBUNTU and I want to use a software program that works on UBUNTU.
I am using Ubuntu 7.10 - the Gutsy Gibbon - released in October 2007.
I have installed kZenExplorer and Gnomad2. I have tried kZenExplorer and got it to connect and see the default songs that came on the unit, but when I try and Sync, it freezes up. I haven't tried Gnomad2 yet, I will and the I'll let you know. Thanks for any help.
I'm using Ubuntu and Gnomad2...it connects to the player and will sometimes scan the device and recognise the files but if I try to copy them to my pc the Zen freezes up... anyone know what I can do?
A lot of problems can be solved when you upgrade to ubuntu 10.4 LTS.

I've had the Zen working fine on various versions of Ubuntu - it's worth upgrading though.
I heard the KZenExplorer isn't really supported that much, I tend to use Gnomad2, it seems the option of choice.
