Question about Alpine CDE-9852 CD Player

1 Answer

Ipod connection I have an Alpine CDE-9852 cd player and the KCE422i connection cable for the ipod and i see i have to plug it into the back of the head unit, but i have no idea how to get to the plug in the back. I'm thinking it should be alot easier to plug it in than taking the whole cd player out. Can someone please tell me how to plug it in?

Re: ipod connection

Take it to the dealer who installed the Alpine and have him plug in a short extension cable for you.

Make sure you are using the blue/white wire to turn the amp on. The blue wire is antenna remote and turns off when leaving tuner mode. The blue/white wire is amp remote turn on.

sorry, the cde 103 will not operate a changer. changers are pretty much on the way out and very few new radios will operate a changer. most are set up to operate mp3's and ipod's.

You shouldnt have any problem at all. These don't use any special anti-theft features that would keep you from using any faceplate.
