Question about Philips GoGear Flash MP3 Player
Wma files syncronised from windows media player for which i have paid for and am entitled to syncronise are not playable as error message comes up on mp4 player "file format not supported"
As far as i can tell many others are having similar problems with this player. the philips web site is hopeless and very very slow.
This was a present for my daughter but it seems i may have to return it to philips as it is not working
The player is not defective. The older Philips players recognized DRM-encrypted WMA's - the newer Philips players do not.
You have to get Rhapsody's Mp3 only service - I repeat, MP3 ONLY. No other level of Rhapsody service will work with the newer Philips' GoGear's - which is funny, b/c Philips co-branded with Rhapsody on the newer players. Rhapsody's Mp3 Only is not the only choice you have - but the key is only to transfer songs that are in mp3 or NONPROTECTED WMA format (non-protected wma's are not purchased songs, but songs ripped in the right way from CD).

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
