Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You haven't specified the browser you are using. (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

Normally you have to go into settings and you can edit the default homepage. (Sometimes under 'Start-Up' settings)

My problem is in internet explorer 8 windows xp laptop gateway computer the restore down or maximize tab(the middle tab) on the upper right corner of windows dissappears and the page crashes and/or...

Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft and therefore isn't secure. I'd recommend considering purchasing a new computer, as they start out in the $200-500 range.

Alternatively, you could look into using a modern Linux operating system, instead of Windows XP on your current computer. An easy to use, free distribution is called Ubuntu and can be downloaded from here. https://www.ubuntu.com/
NOTE: Before installing, back up your files and settings.

To solve your browser problem only, you might see if you can get an alternative browser. Here are a few, but I'm not sure if any are still able to run on Windows XP:

Mozilla Firefox Browser
Download Firefox Free Web Browser

Opera Browser
Opera browser The fast safe web browser Download free

Google Chrome Browser
Google Chrome

Hi, I have MCEBrowser (Version: 2.2) product. Could you please provide me information whether it is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 operating system. Thanks in advance.

Windows 7 operating systems is an improved system with networing improvement compartibilities. The internet browser is only compartibe with google, mozziler foxpro, firefox browsers and the latest update of google Chrome browser. Microsoft internet explorer is incompartible with Windows 7 operating system. e.g. The compartibilty is with the computer operating system, windoms 2000, mellannium, xp and vista operating systems should display internet explorer. Windows 7 32-bit a lower versions design or 64-bit an remodified version are incompartible to Internet explorer

App won't load properly on XP with Firefox.

You go in Start- All Programs- Accessories- System Tools, and here you choose System Restore, a new screen is coming up and ask you if you want to make a system new restore point or you want to restore your computer as it was in a early-ere state. Here you choose restore. On the next screen you choose a date that where the computer was working. No documents will be lost in this section (restore) the program will only touch the program files chances during this period. The computer will reboot after the program do start. That´s it :O)
You can also find the feature in Start- Help and Support

BTW another thing, for cleaning the computer I would recommend Ccleaner, the best solution for getting the computer cleaned and getting more space. The program is safe to use and I would recommend you to also use the registry cleaner integrated . The program is free. Read my article here:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3581476-how_to_use_ccleaner_to_keep_your_compute

Try to run Ccleaner after the system restore has been done

Let me know

Internet disconnects on using mozilla, safari, google chrome except internet explorer

This solution depends on how long ago you installed all 3 Browsers on your system.
I'm assuming you're using a Windows PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista

1- First, you want to uninstall Safari and Google Chrome (one at a time) from your PC. These two browsers are new to PC's and are not fully debugged/tested yet.
2- after uninstalling both, restart your computer 1 time.
3- After starting up again, start Firefox and try to surf to a website you haven't tried before on it.
4- If unsuccessful, check which version of Firefox you're using. If it is older than version 3.01, use Internet explorer to go to their website and download the new version.
5- uninstall the old version of firefox first, before installing the new version (always follow this rule for all future program installations, unless otherwise stated in the instructions for the program)
6- Once you have the new version of Firefox installed, run it and check for internet connectivity.
7- Firefox may ask to get settings from Internet Explorer at some point, say yes.

Let us know how it goes and rate us. :)
