Question about Kenmore 23822 Top Load Washer
When you open the top, the tub looks slightly off center (you can pull it back to center)and now each load makes an off balance noise when it starts to spin in all cycles. Every thing else works fine, but I am afraid to keep using it.
There are three springs under your machine. two that look the same....one on each side of the tub. and one in the back of the tub. it is common on machines that are a bit older for the rear spring to wear itself through the metal at the bottom. if this is the case, it is best to get a new spring and just drill another small hole next to the old one. you might be able to get by with using the old spring for a bit longer....just drill another hole.
