Right click on your desktop,  click Properties, On the Appearance Tab check if your Text size is set to Normal, Click Settings tab and change your screen resolution to 1024 by 768 pixels then click OK.

Many answers to this question , depending on monitor size and browser , a very good work around is to hold the control key on keyboard and roll your mouse wheel to resize the page your viewing . what is your monitor size and it resolution setting and what browser are you using ? so its possible to walk you thru setting adjustments.

My Dell Dimension 3000 will not work past the Dell Startup Screen. When I try to enter safe mode, three lines of text appear on the screen that include system 32.

That line of text tell you that the kernel - the core of Windows is corrupted or missing. Nothing left to do but reinstall: use the recovery cd that came with the pc when you bought it.

How do I change the text size on my dell computer. I use windows and internet Explorer.

Hi,I think what your asking is "how to increase your text in IE"
If this is what your asking, the fix is easy.Open Internet Explorer, and look to the top right of the window. You'll see the word Page, left click that.A drop down will open, look for (Text Size),hold your mouse over that and you'll see five (5) settings left clicking will set the size.Another way to enlarge an entire page would be to hold down the Ctrl button and tap the + or - on your key pad.hope this has helped Please don't forget to rate.....

How do I increase the text size on incoming e-mail or stuff I want to print. larry

The easiest way to increase the text size on screen of your e-mails and browser contents is to simply hold the "Ctrl" key and scroll up with your mouse to zoom in and scroll down with your mouse to zoom out. If you don't have a scrolling mouse, hold the "Ctrl" key while pressing the "+" and "-" sign to adjust the text size.

If you want to increase the size of the font on documents you are printing from web-sites, you have to look for the "Printer Friendly" button, or the "Print" button on the actual web-page. The developers of the article you are seeking to print have to manually do this themselves.

If it's in a text document or something similar, you can highlight all of the text at once by pressing "Ctrl+A" (The control key and the A button, not the plus button) and increasing the font size in the program you are using.

Gmail page too wide

Dear Chuck:

I have a Dell Dimension 2400. Those came standard with a 15 inch monitor. Go to the blank screen, right click and click on properties, then click on settings, your resolution should be set to 1024 by 768. Or click on start, then click on control panel, double click on display, then click on settings, again your resolution should be set to 1024 by 768. If this does not solve your problem, then you need to find the correct video drivers for your monitor and download them.

Text too wide for screen

If you want to increase the font size of the text on the page and you're using a scroll wheel mouse, here's a handy little trick- hold down the Control button while rolling the scroll wheel up or down. This will increase/decrease the size of the text on the screen but won't affect the graphics.
