Re: constant drain won't fill
Look at how the drain hose is run. The highest part of the hose needs to be comfortably higher than the maximum water level in the machine. The manual will tell you what minimum height you need, but if you can't find that, use 36" as a starting point.

Hello Denise C - There are several things that could cause the bleach to not dispense into the washer. Are you sure the liquid in the dispenser after the wash is bleach? If it is pure bleach, the solenoid that lets the water into the dispenser is not working. This solenoid is located on the back of the dispenser. It only gets voltage during the dispense time and fills the bleach dispenser with water. The bleach dispenser fills while the washer is filling for the rinse cycle.
When the washer begins to fill for the rinse cycle, the bleach solenoid is energized and water flows into the bleach dispenser cup. When the cup is full the water siphons out and bleach and water flow into the tub.
If the liquid in the bleach dispenser is pure bleach you may need a technician to diagnose and repair the problem. The voltage will have to be tested to the bleach solenoid and a volt meter is required.
If the liquid in the bleach dispenser is water you probably need to clean the dispenser cup. Scum will build up in the siphon tube and stop the liquid from going into the washer tub. The incoming water will dilute the bleach and overflow the dispenser cup and run into the tub.
Remove the insert from the bleach and fabric softener compartments. Clean the bottom of the insert and the bleach and fabric softener compartments. Reinstall the insert and put the drawer back inside the washer.
To test the siphon action slowly pour water into the bleach compartment. When the water level goes above the maximum line stop pouring. The water should all drain out. You may also test the fabric softener compartment the same way.
Bleach & fabric conditioners "syphon away" into machine... try adding 1/2 lt water to the bleach compartment, if it then syphons away your syphon is not blocked. If it does not drain you will need to find the syphon cap - genarally just a tube, most manufacturers will make the tube a different colour to the rest of the draw.
If it did drain when water added you may have issues with bleach not being a part of that particular cycle, delicates for example...
Hello , here is the fix-your drain hose is placed to low in the drain line in the wall, it can not be placed in water or it will siphon the water out of your washer into the drain pipe and it wont stop until it hits air. try pulling your drain hose up and out of the drain and get a zip tie or cable and tie it to one of the water valves by the drain pipe placing the end of the drain hose about 5-6 inches inside the drain pipe. Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck it will work.
hiya was a bit puzzled at this one ? but will try to help not certain re your machine about bleach in dispensor but consulted the wife about bleach in our machine and no where in the manual does it mention use of bleach only softeners ? however you mention dispensor does not dispense ? try this? remove/pull out drawer and clean out the machine where drawer fits of any residue powder alsi the softener dispensor remove from drawer and ensure the cap is good fit on the dispensor tube ? if loose? then the dispensor will not work as it is emptied of softener//bleach by syphon effect ie as like toilet flush? as water enters rises to tor of tube then the fluid in compartment is syphoned along with water that is entering on rinse? cycle so if no syphon? water will o/flow/fill the drawer on l/h side and may o/flow leak from drawer ?? hope this helps? and you understand the syphon effect for using softeners ? ps i may be mistaken about use of bleach but prior apologies if iam wrong
remove the back of the unit at the bottom where the compressor is, it is held in place with 5/16ths screws. locaate the drain tube going to the drain pan, it is held in place with a spring type clamp, remove the drain tube and run water through it till it is clean and not obstructed, reinstall all parts
Have a look at the routing of your drain hose. It sounds a bit as if:
a. The highest point of the hose isn't high enough (you normally want to aim for about 3 feet off the ground) - so that water starts draining from the machine before it is finished filling.
b. There isn't an effective air break or anti-siphon valve where the drain hose goes into the domestic drainage system - so that once the machine starts to drain by itself, it continues until empty.
