If you can boot up in SAFE MODE then you maybe able to download the drivers from the Lenovo WEB site.

The same model Lenovo can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your Lenovo, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver.

When you download the drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive.

Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: -

Laptop is not switching on

The Lenovo maybe damaged beyond repair.
You should not have turned on your Lenovo and imediately removed the battery then drained the water and place the Lenove in a warm dry place for several days to make sure it was completely dry, then take it to a computer repair shop and get them to check out the Lenovo.
I suggest you take it to a computer repair shop, they may charge you for a quote unless you go ahead with the repair.
You could remove the battery and dry out the Lenovo for several days and then replace the battery and then boot it up. If it does work then I suggest you get a new laptop.
You can remove the hard drive and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external USB hard drive.

Im having an error when trying to turn on my lenovo. The error codes are PXE-E61 and PXE-M0F. Then it says missing operating system. It wont do anything after that. Can you please assist me with this....

pxe-e61 (media test failure, check cable) and pxe-m0f (exiting pxe rom), your laptop is not detecting your hard drive so it cannot boot. Try this, remove anything that it is attached to your laptop (external drive, external camera or the likes) and try rebooting. If that does not work you have to open your hard disk drive bay located at the back of your laptop and carefully remove it then place it back again make sure that the screws are complete and are not loose.
Reply if pulling out your hard drive did'nt work.

'blank sceen appear on my lenovo ideapad S10 but lenovo and the windows manage to appear after tunning it on and blank afterward

Hi licah,
It seems that your computer is not booting into windows properly at all.
You mentioned you see Lenovo and windows appear then the screen goes Blank afterwards, you can try to Boot directly into the Hard Drive manually just to get everything working or I mean Booting up again but this is a small shot from what you are experiencing but is also worth the try.
turn your S10 machine OFF then turn it back ON and keep on tapping f12 on the keyboard you should see Boot menu on the list Select HDD then press enter this should boot into the Hard Drive, if it does not then you may need to send the system back to Lenovo for a possible reinstallation of windows or on most time we also have the Hard Drive replaced in many cases.
I hope that this Helps.
Have a nice day,

How to enter the bios to change boot sequence on a lenovo 3000 n500 laptop

Turn on your computer. Press F2, while the initial screen is displayed.
The BIOS Setup Utility screen opens.

Boot priority order look for your had disk here.
order should be
1. cd rom
then 2. hard disk
then 3. usb or network boot device. anything bellow doesn't really matter much.

T30 still won't boot after fan replacement

One of your memory slots might be bad as I'm assuming you tried both memory chips in the known working slot.
I found setting the boot up sequence in BIOS is better than using F12.
Set your BIOS to boot the CDROM first. I suspect the hard drive has failed or has a problem. Do you have a floppy boot disk? Lenovo has PCDoctor bootable diagnostics on their website. You may have inadvertently bent a pin inserting the hard drive. Your CMOS battery could be dead but since that was untouched I would be surprised.
