Printing on both sides of the page with HP Laser jet P2015n

I am trying to print an Adobe Acrobat document on both sides of the page. I insert the pages and start off by printing 1, 3, 5, and the turn it over to print 2, 4, 6, etc. The pages do not come out in numerical order but in random plus some pages come out up-side down.

I don’t know weather this is a driver issue or not. The printer is brand new and I have instilled the CD that came with the printer.

My reason for contacting you is that I cannot get any support here in Sweden due to that it is a holiday here and I cannot get support from the States, as the printer was bought in Sweden.

Please send me an e-mail to [email protected] and I will call you a.s.a.p.

Sincerely yours,

G. Erik E´. Tegnér

The problem got resolved by clicking “print in reverse order” when printing the even pages and un-clicking the “print in reverse order” when printing uneven pages.

    Thank you for your help,

or Try cleaning your heads with appropriate solution. Then, cancel all print jobs. Try again. If it does the same i would turn it off, inplug all the cables, replug all and turn on. Try again. If still no good, completely unistall printer then reinstall it. Try once more. Good luck

That is because of the original PDF document format, the only way to print this document in double print, is by reformatting the document with a PDF editor. This is not a driver problem.

This printer has also an automatic duplex feature, ensure you are setting up the automatic duplex , follow instructions on the user manual on the link below.

If automatic duplex is set up properly, and printer is still printing in the wrong way, that means that the problem depends on the specific PDF file that you are trying to print.

Where is a print size option on HP Office Jet Printer 3833

Hello, Jane -

See the User Guide for the HP OfficeJet 3833, page 21, in the Print from Your Computer section, directions to print a document.

If you do not have the User Guide, this is the link to it (PDF document - you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software - free):

How To Add Page Numbers to Prints / Copies on a Sharp Copier

This is a simple question that I am often asked, and I decided to put together a little guide on how to add page numbers in various programs/applications as well as from the copier's touch screen. Originally I thought this was something that could be dictated from a Sharp print driver, but it's not. It's accomplished by adjusting the settings of the actual document before you print it out.

Print Page Numbers Onto Copied Documents

1. On the Home screen, touch Copy

2. On the Copy screen, touch Others at the bottom-left

3. On the Others Screen, touch Stamp
write_tip-smf2r4tpyjjq4h3ju4xuhwdx-5-5.png
4. On the Stamp screen, move to the Page No. tab, then choose the location of the page where you want the page number. You can also choose the pattern or text style that you want the page number to be on the left side of the menu.

5. Touch OK. Your copies will have the page number stamped in the position you chose.

Printing Page Numbers from Microsoft Word or Excel on a Windows PC

1. Open your document
2. Once you're ready to print the document, move to the Insert Tab, and choose Page Number, then choose the position where you'd like the page number printed, and the type/style of the numbering.
3. Your print outs will now have the page number printed on them.

Printing Page Numbers from Adobe Acrobat / Adobe Reader

First of all, Adobe Reader cannot add page numbers to PDF print outs. It's a READ ONLY tool incapable of editing documents. You'll need either Adobe Acrobat Pro, or software similar to what BatesNumberer.com offers.
There is a great video on tv.adobe.com that details how to add page numbers via Adobe Acrobat.

In Conclusion

Make the necessary changes to your document to add page numbering before you print it, or before you copy it. There are a ton of other great tutorials for Sharp copiers/printers at www.youtube.com/equipmybiz

The device will only print one page at a time.

The usual 2 culprits are this:

1. Not enough memory in printer for the complex document that you are printing.
2. Newer version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed but old printer driver installed. Updating your printer driver from the Brother Website will often improve printing performance dramatically.

Canon MP610 Printer When automatic duplex printing in landscape orientation, the reverse side is printed upside down. Duplex Printing in portrait mode works fine. Can you help?

I haven't found a way to do this using the printer settings.

There is no (apparent) simple solution, but needing tp print a 56 page pdf form the only solution was to load the pdf into Adobe Acrobat and then in the 'document' pull down menu select 'rotate pages', then select '180 degrees' and also 'rotate even pages only'. This then prints OK.

The down side is that you need full Adobe Acrobat rather than just the reader.

I have been unable to rotate pages through 180 degrees in MS Word but it is possible using MS Publisher.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0 Can't get page numbers to show

OK, That's why it's not working.. In order to get them on there, do the following:

Once you have loaded the page into acrobat, goto the Document Menu, mouse over header and foot, and choose add..

In there, there will be a button that will say "insert page number", just click on that (only once), then click "ok".. That will add page 1...2...3...4, etc to the top of every page.

As a side note: you can also choose where to put the page number by clicking in one of the text boxes marked "Left Header", "Center Header", etc.. and then click on "insert page number".. You will be able to see a preview first before actually adding the numbers..
