I want vedio which format

The Sansa uses its own format. However, the supplied Sansa Media Converter program can convert just about all formats of videos (and pictures) you might have on your computer. Simply use the SMC to convert and transfer the files.

If you've misplaced the SMC, you can download it from

Unable to transfer to mp3 player

Hi there,
Based on Philips SA6045 User's Guide, youou can transfer your media content in the following ways:

  • Using Windows Media Player 10 – Note: You cannot transfer all video files using this method. It is recommended to use Media Converter for Philips to transfer video files.
  • Using Windows Media Player 11 - Note: You cannot transfer all video files using this method. It is recommended to use Media Converter for Philips to transfer video files.
  • Using Windows Explorer - Note: While all files will transfer, they may not play back if the player does not support the format.

It is recommended that you use Media Converter for Philips to transfer your video content, and Windows Media Player (10 or 11) to transfer your music and pictures to the device. Use Windows Media Player (10 or 11) to transfer all video that you purchased online to the device.
