spray your volume control with a dirt/rust cleaning cannister if you cant access it, open your spk system then spray it directly with straw stick into the cannister so that it can be easily sprayed into that volume control, hope this can help.. thanks for asking, good day..

Dont know how to skip song using headphone switch

okay if you notice, the headphone switch should have a + for increasing volume and a "-" for decreasing volume, in the middle is this groove part, which can be clicked aswell. Click the middle to play/pause. And double click it twice really fast to skip to the next song! Enjoy

:-) Have you changed your profile? Set it to normal and check.
secondly, while playing the music file, try increasing the volume and make sure that it does not playing in the blue tooth device option.

The volume on the ipod (4th gen) seems to change on its own. WTF!

the volume may change depending upn the quality of the songs that you may have downloaded...one way to fix that is to go to itunes...edit...preferences...click on playback and check the sound check option...this will adjust the sound levels of all songs automatically...you can even change individual song volumes....right click the song that you want to change in your library...go to get info...options...and there you can adjust the volume of the song or even define preset equalizers for any particular song...hope im of help :)

No graphical display of volume when I adjust volume on keyboard

Have you installed all the features which it has come with. Although it must show it if you have installed multimedia package to full install. It is just the small feature, which comes with the software CD.
