I recently had an ongoing text conversation with someone and it was very informative. However I accidently erased the text messages. Is there any way to review the sent history? I'll be happy if I could just view the message history of my sent texts.
Can someone help me please?

Unfortunately, Memory in the phone is RAM type and it is not Hard Drive type so once it has been erased, you will not be able to retrieve it back. That is why some phone model has poped up the message to ask you whether you are confimed for a premanent delete. Memory in phone was too small so it must erase the old one in order to give out more space for incoming one so once it is erase, it will be permanently.

I get this behaviour in email clients from time to time as well. It's usually due to updating the client (email, messages, messenger, text, whatever) to the latest version. Various folks like MS and Google and others seem to think we all want our communications 'grouped' in some fashion, so every time they update, they give you their preferred setting, and you need to turn it off again. The setting is just a view (sometimes called a thread) of conversations between you and others. I prefer my texts grouped just by recipient/sender and chronologically.
If your phone was used to forward your texts to someone else they should show up in the 'sent' side of the list, or in your 'recent' messages. Unless they deleted them as they sent them.
I'd lean to app misbehaviour before conspiracy... and if you have texts you don't want seen, put a lock on the phone, delete messages as you send them, or don't send them in the first place ;-)
WHEN YOU OPEN A TEXT CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE AT THE TOP YOU SHOULD SEE A TRASH, CLICK IT THEN SELECT ONES TO BE DELETED BY CLICKING THE BOX TO THE LEFT OF THE MESSAGE THEN CLICK DONE AT TOP. WHILE LOOKING AT ALL CONVERSATIONS WHERE THERES A LIST OF WHO ALL YOUR TEXT ARE FROM YOU CAN LONG PRESS ANY CONTACT THEN FOLOW THE SAME TO DELETE CONVERSATIONS WITH MULTIPLE CONTACTS.
I understand kinda what you're going through. When I'm texting someone and it's been more than 5 texts between the 2 of us, I'll when they text me back I don't see there message, I just get my message sent back. I haven't been able to figure it out. I'm taking my phone it though.
Most phones can be unlocked although of course legality is in question. Usually users don't unlock devices themselves but bring the device to a store to have it unlocked. Most "regular" store will not unlock phones (they don't want to get sued) but if your city has a Chinatown I'm nearly willing to bet you can find someone to unlock your phone for you.
