E051 - Horizontal registration sensor problems E001 - Fixing temperature faulty E805 - The Fan rotation problems
It can be that You have problems with DC contoller ( main pcb ) or the copier is in worst condition and there are faults on every segment.
For E001, you can try to reset error:
1. The following error codes cannot be reset by merely turning off and then on the main power. They require resetting in service mode: E000, E001, E002, E003, E004, E032, E717 1) Start service mode, and select COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR. 2) Press the OK key. 3) Turn off and then on the main power. 2. Error codes other than the above may be reset by turning off and then on the main power. n Detail Code Some error codes offer detail codes, which may be checked in service mode: COPIER>DISPLAY>ERR (3rd block from the right)
BUT I THINK THAT THE BEST SOLUTION IS TO CALL SERVICE TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM OR YOU BUY NEW MACHINE:..
You may have a piece of paper left inside. If the paper tears and a piece remains inside the machine, open the Scanning Unit and remove it. Be careful not to touch the components inside the machine at this time. After removing the paper, close the Scanning Unit, turn the machine OFF and turn it back ON. If you tried to print Credit Card-sized paper in the landscape orientation you can get <PAPER JAMMED> or <E,3> displayed on the LCD/LED, remove the paper following the procedure below. 1. Load Credit Card-sized paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder one sheet at a time. Do not load it in the landscape orientation. 2. Press [ON/OFF] on the machine to turn OFF the power. 3. Press [ON/OFF] again on the machine to turn ON the power. The paper is fed and the jammed paper is ejected accordingly. If you cannot remove the jammed paper or the error still persists, contact a Canon service representative.
hi 1. cheq the fuser heater lamp & thermal fuse,

It means that the waste ink absorbers are filled and you will need to replace them and take the machine to a service center.. Well thats what Canon says,, then when you get there they say buy a new one..
Any way forget them try this.. 1.) unplug machine (power cable from back of printer. 2.) hold the power button down and plug cable back in.the printer light will stay on ,, 3.) still holding power,, press the paper feed button.. light will change to orange 4.) press paper feed button again.. It will turn to green 5.) release power button and enjoy..
Depend on the the firmware skip step 4...
That will bypass canons firmware and reset the counters.. Print as you will now..
Canon support says reset machine by holding power button for one second until the display shuts off. Wait ten seconds, press power button - allow machine to completely turn back on. Otherwise, they say your printer may need repair.
(If holding the power button will not turn device off, you may unplug the power cord as an option).
Most likely, you have a problem with the scanning lamp.... When you turn the copier on, will it turn right off? If so, try to hold the power switch "ON". The Display pannel will flash a Error Code... It may be a E0200 or E0220 or E000. Get the Error Code and get back to us... I think you have a heat or scanning lamp is shorting out... Good Luck
EOOO is a thermistor-fuser error. Your machine will need a fuser, but on occasion a power surge can trip the error, E000 needs a code to reset it, I dont know if same but this is the code on a IR 330s
Press the userbutton then press "2" & "8" at the same time and then press userbutton again. You will now enter servicemode
Does the machine start and switch itself off? Some errors cause this to occur to prevent further damage. Try switching it on with the front door open, this will prevent the fixing heater circuitry from initialising. You will then need to find the error code. The ones that cause it to switch off never appear on screen, only viewable thru service mode. Push a straightened paper-clip into the hole below the right hand meter inside the front of the machine, press << and >> to get to *1* DISPLAY, find ERROR and let me know. Hope this helps...
