Question about HP Deskjet F335 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP F335 All-In-One printer

(Continuation of troubleshooting question).

I Emailed HP and they subbested I remove both cartridges, plug power cable back into printer, press on and paper size button (?) at same time. When both lights stop flashing, release buttons and resete should be complete. Once the power button has remained on consistently for a while, I should be able to print. It didn't work.I tried it again, no luck> I even uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, and this did nothing. Any help would be appreciated. I am betting tired of HP making disposable printers. This is my third and the other two broke soon after the warranty expired. Sounds like the US auto indutryof yore!!

I feel your pain, but it's not worth fixing. HP's mission is to sell INK CARTRIDGES, they could'nt care less about the printers.

They sell printers at the cost of manufacturing them.

Unfortunately, all printer mfgrs do the same thing.

Laser printers are going the same route now.

Had unpluged when pluged back in has no power at all

Check both ends of the power cord (the end connected to the printer might not be in all the way).

Also check to see if the same outlet works for other electronics.

If not, then you have a problem with the outlet not the printer.

Hope this helps!

All lights flashing on HP psc 1350 printer

Resetting a Hp printer means switching off the machine, removing the cartridges, disconnecting the usb cable and the power chord, leave it off for few minutes then restarting it again without usb cable connected to it and without cartridges installed. You need to press the power button while it boots up. Leave it one for few minutes and again turn it off. Reinstall the cartridges and plug in the usb cable, again Power On the printer. That's all.
But there's another thing when you say all lights are blinking/flashing, there is chance that there's an internal faulty. Clean the cartridges contact point and the contact points on the printer. If possible, clean the printer thoroughly, including the waste ink tank. This will let you help find out the culprit.
Good luck.

Perform the normal assert troubleshooting:
-turn ON the printer
-disconnect the usb cable from both ends of the printer and pc if printer is connected with USB cable
-open the cartridge door and remove all the ink cartridges
-close everything without installing the cartridge
-disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer without turning off the power
-wait for 30 secs
-plug the power cable back in and install all the ink cartridges if the printer turns on
-wait the printer to initialize and stop making noises
**don't attempt to print this time
-turn off the printer by disconnecting the power cable from the back
-wait another 30 secs
-plug the power cable back in and if the printer is ready to go
-try printing a test page

Get back to me if it doesn't work.
