Question about Adobe PageMaker 7.0.2 for PC
My problem is ... import a pagemaker 7 file in indesign cs3. that filed are imported. But all images and aliegnment are changes.
pl help me ! very urgent
Pagemaker to InDesign is not an exact process. You are going to have to put some work into the converted file. The important thing to maintain in PageMaker to make a clean transition, is to make sure the PM file is PRISTINE. All the links in the Links Palette are current, al fonts for the file are loaded. Delete any unused colors, just clean the file up. The more clean the file, the cleaner the transition.
No matter how clean the file is, there are going to be things you are going to HAVE to fix. You are going from an app that has not been supported for over a decade into the latest and greatest, InDesign. Be patient and be glad at least you can get the PM file into something usable instead of having to rebuild it entirely.
Hope this helps.
