Question about Creative Labs ZEN V Plus MP3 Player
Hi, my Creative Zen V series mp3 player is not displaying anything in LCD. But, audio is working fine. only display went wrong. Can someone can help me on this?
I had the same issue with my older Zen Xtra 30GB. I contacted Creative and they wanted 125 USD to repair it, but I had only had it about a year, and I paid 200 USD for it. The warranty on Creative products is only 90 days. I love their stuff but their support and repair policy is horrible. I shut it off and left it alone for a couple weeks, and the display started working again. It developed a charging issue though and even after replacing the battery it never worked right again. Try leaving it turned off for a few days or so. If it doesn't cone back, I would suggest looking into a new player. They are not worth fixing at the price Creative wants. iPod nano 8GB players are down to 169 dollars now, and as they are the standard now, there are more accessories available for them. The warranty is also a LOT longer.
I switched and I could not be happier.
