Hp channel ethernet

Hello
i have switch hp procurve i will make channel ethernet between 2 switches
i did the command ( interface 25.26)# trunk 25,26 trk2 lacp
but it is reading speed 1 G
you could tell to me what is the configuration between 2 switches

The speed of the link will not change when you trunk 2 or more ports together. Trunking is meant to spread the bandwidth across more then 1 link; but be aware, if you watch the traffic going across the trunked ports you may see a majority of the traffic crossing 1 link. That's because the switch uses an algorithm with the source and destination MAC address to determine which port the traffic will take. Adding a 3rd port to the trunk may help spread the bandwidth across more links.

Cannot access web interface


I'm going to assume you can get in the command line interface. Go into the command mode (type "config t" with out the quotes ) then type "ip http server" press enter, type exit to get out of command mode and then "write memory" to save your configuration. Remember, vlan 1 on the switch MUST have a IP address for you to be able to access the web interface.

If you find the clear button on the front of the switch to the right of the console cable connection. Take a paper clip and press the clear button and then the switch will have no password (unless the front panel buttons have been turned off using the command line commands)

I want reset the factory default of my switch HP Procurve 2510G


To reset using the CLI, run the command "erase startup-config". When prompted, say yes to reboot and that will restore the procurve switch back to factory settings after it starts up.

no, you can use a 10/100/1000 port to link the switches together. Make sure you program the same VLANS on the switches and TAG all the VLANS on the switch port you use to link up.

What blade is in module A? If it's a PoE blade, you must have the EPS connected to the front of the blade.

Here's what you need to do:

First, be sure to assign an ip address(in the proper subnet) to each VLAN.

Second, use the ip helper-address command in the context of each VLAN, the address used should be the address of the DHCP server

Third, Add a scope for each additional VLAN on the DHCP server.

The switch will route the DHCP request to the proper server based on the ip helper-address command parameter and based on the ip address of the VLAN that is passed tot he server, a DHCP address in the proper subnet is automatically configured.

Here is a sample:
