Question about Lenovo 3000 Y410 (59012354) PC Notebook
I tried to install 2 2GB memory chips in my Lenovo y400, and it only showed 3GB total memory.
The memory was kingmax 667mhz.
That is because of window's limitations. Since you only have a 32-bit operating system installed, windows can only physically see a little over 3 GB of memory. The only way you can see that other memory is by installing either XP or Vista 64-bit operating system. Oh and please give this solution a fixya rating; I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
