How can i get rid of driver starforce as it is comming up blocked frm my pc vista

Star force is a protection system used mainly in protecting games and other software against illegal copying. I'm not sure exactly what you mean. If you are asking to help get rid of software protection, I'm afraid I cannot help. If however, you have the star force software on your computer (don't know why you would), the following link may help you

When copying Windows Vista install dvd to usb, error message exit: Can`t copy install.wim (CRC) data error.

Hello,
Make sure your install DVD is not scratched or full of finger prints. If you have another computer try using it to copy the DVD to USB. Some dvd players read dvd's better then others. If you need to, it is not illegal to download the software off the internet as long as you use the product key that came with your copy of the software when you install it. You could download the ISO from a torrent site and extract it to USB if you needed, with programs like MagicISO.

I'm having a problem taking videos from a dvd to put in power director workspace

Hi vqnessavann
PDR 8 will run smoother if you first import the content of the dvd on your HDD in MPEG format .
Secundly , it won't work if the content is copy protected .
Otherwise , use a third party software such as TMPGEnc , NERO ... etc ... to convert VOB ( dvd ) files into Mpeg files .
To decrypt protected dvds , you can use free DVDFab HDDecrypter .
Best regards,
fanaudi .

Copied a video DVD to a DVD-R using Windows 7, which plays on my PC ok, but does not play on a DVD player. How can I finalize the DVD so it plays on a standard non pc DVD player?

The "ordering" of the files on the DVD is *IMPORTANT* to your stand-alone DVD-player.
Use "good" software, such as NERO, to make a "true" copy of the DVD,
not a file-by-file copy, which is what you have created.

How do i download videos from my driver to my videos file

Wel if you are talking about a DVD you should remember that most of them are copy protected and that you woun't be able to just copy and past them. I can advise you to create an .iso file of the DVD using isobuster That will allow you to put the DVD on your computer.

Hope that helps

Software downgrade or uninstall messes with driver, throws **DVD** copy/write into PIO

1) I've discovered over the years that disabling the 'auto-protect' mode on the anti-virus while burning speeds up the process.
2) Try uninstalling the BURNER software instead of anything else, I got a laptop in my shop the other day with SLOOOOooow burn (if at all) process, by uninstalling and installing another burn software (Roxio instead of Nero for example), tends to alleviate the problem.

Hope this helps.

Are you wanting to make a virtual copy of a DVD for usage later, or watch a movie by downloading it off the internet? If you buy software designed to circumvent the copy-protection built into today's DVD movies, you're going to spend a lot of money doing so, and filmmakers always change / update their copy-protection procedures and the software won't be able to keep up. One way to watch movies on your PC (that I personally use) is VONGO, which is video-on-the-go abbreviated. Vongo works well, and is relatively inexpensive.

There may be other services that do the same (or similar) thing(s) but I know Vongo is a good service, and no, I don't get paid anything to endorse them. It is easy to use and many movies are free.
