I live in the US and am moving to Australia. will i be able to use the system there?

I have this system, live in the US and am moving to Australia. will i be able to use the system there? I plan on buying a television in Australia to use with this system. I think i'm ok on the power and dvd, but not too sure about radio frequencies or something else i may not have thought of.

Remember that the electric on that part of the globe cycles in different hz level. This may cause the disc to play slower. Make certain you get an converter that corrects this problem. Some Nak's depending where you bought it do have a 125/220 switch either on the main unit or the sub/amp box

CBS station is gone. Only shows instructions for converter box.

I live outside the Kansas City Missouri area. I was having problems receiving one station. I decided to raise my outside attenna to get better reception. In doing so, I totally lost reception on another station. I only moved it up about 6'. I had to move the attenna back down to get that station perfect again. I still cann't get the station I'm missing but I found out that moving the attenna up/down or side to side can make a huge difference. I live about 50 miles from the stations I receive. Good Luck.

Regio problems

You need to make it multi region. You can either pay for it:

or do it yourself.
0082 0015 0089 0004 00F2 0033 0017 0010 0091 0013

You can enter these codes with a PocketPC using TV Remote Controller and making a CCF file with these codes. Or use a Palm with Omniremote. Make sure no disc in the player when entering this code.

Please rate this solution if it helps.

Coaxle cable (from aerial on roof to TV or top box)

I believe that you use the same type of connector as in the UK.

If so, this site or this video should help you.

Even if your connector is a slightly different design, the principles are the same.

Hope this helps,

Playing dvds in other regions

The region code is fixed by the manufacturer and you will not find help from them to change it. However there are ways of doing it, go to the web site below and look in the left hand panel for "multi-region".............
