Thank you for your reply. Is it possible that the frame rate can be changed in the PC software provided with the camera?

Okay I just looked over the entire manual and I cannot find anywhere on there where it says this camera can record in different frame rates. It can record in different resolutions, but not frame rates. I would take it back to the person who told you that and make him show you and when he can't, demand an exchange for something that will do what you want it to do.

It is possible you can use the software to slow down the playback when you create a DVD. It does create some stunning effects :c)

I just bought the JVC Everio GZ-MG330 and when I playback the video there is barely any sound even when I set the volume to the highest possible number. Does this mean the camara is no working properly.

Try resetting the unit:

To reset the camera
1) Close the LCD monitor to turn off the
camera and remove the power supply
(battery pack or AC adapter) from the
camera, then reattach it.
2) Select [FACTORY PRESET] from the

If still no sound replace it...

Hope that helps........

I accidently created a video in time lapse. Can you change it and make it play at a normal rate?

No...time lapse take one frame at a pre-determined rate of speed. There is no information in between these frames to stitch together to make a smooth video.

I have a JVC GZ-HD300 Hard disc video camera and when using Everio Mediabrowser which comes with the camera download to convert my videos the conversion leaves the finished video blurred

If the original footage was sharp, that means that you are probably using wrong compression parameter or format on Everio, while doing conversion.

If the source movie was blurred instead, try using the Advanced Image Stabilisation option, usually available in new JVC HD camcorder menu.

Everio has different quality settings. Each time you increase compression you lower quality.

Also ensure that the camera was not in a low definition setting.

Canon PowerShot SD 870 IS Movie playback speed is too fast!

You've got it on Time Lapse video. Turn on, slide to video, press func. set button, toggle to standard instead of time lapse. Maybe next time try your owners manual. Of course you all are probably like my mom and just get a new camera, put in the batteries and start taking pictures. These stupid expensive cameras have too many options and get messed up too easily with the wrong press of the button. Try a simple cheap on next time.

Make sure that you're not on timelapse, it should be standard to do a regular playback.
