Toshiba Satellite x205-SLi6 will not load some programs. Will not load open office or adobe cs5 or 7

Ensure that you have sufficient room left on your hard drive for the programs.

Also ensure that you have at least the minimum required RAM memory installed in your machine that is needed to run / install the programs in question.

Ensure that your browser is not blocking the dowload for security reasons. Check to see if the is a yellow horizontal bar across the top of the page just under all the toolbars when you try to download them. You may need to click on this yellow bar and select ALLOW THE DOWNLOAD.

Good luck.

Speaker does not work

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable)

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

I have window xp setup but i dont have sound on my system. so direct me for this

Right click on my computer and go manage. Then click on device manager in left pane. Now you will see all the available components on right side. Check whether any yellow mark is near Sound,Audio and game controllers. If any yellow mark is there, that means driver is not installed.so you need to install driver. if there is no mark, go to control panel(start->Settings->control panel) and click on Sound and Audio devvices and keep the volume bar on middle. also make use Mute option in not checked. still you are not geting sound then issue with your sound card

Jun 26, 2009- hello there, i've got a problem with my pc.the sound just went off and i look at the device manager and the sound icon have yellow sign.please anyone can tell me whats wrong with my pc?how...

What you can do is go to the control panel then click "Sound". And on the Sound window you will see the tab called "playback" click on it. Then, in the dialog below the tabs you'll see your audio device the main sound from your laptop and another one. Click on the one which you have a problem with. If its your main speaker which is built in your laptop it will be easier to fix. If its the built in one you have the prob with then click it and click the "properties" tab. Click on "levels" and set them all on 100. I think that should help. since I have a HP laptop i think the settings are different because I have the realtech builti in speakers. If you have them then after you set the levels on 100 click on enchancements and checkmark the following: Environment, Equalizer, Virtual Surround, and Loudness Equalization. I think this should help!

Hope u fix it.
